Prey Thmar Koul Community Achieves Milestones with New Guard Huts and Community Hall
The Prey Thmar Koul Community is proud to announce the successful construction of two guard huts and one community hall, marking a significant step forward in our efforts to protect local resources and improve community engagement.
Guard Huts: A Commitment to Protecting Our Environment
Located strategically near the river, the two newly built guard huts will play a crucial role in safeguarding the area against illegal activities. One hut is positioned at the southern end of the river, and the other at the northern end. These huts will serve as outposts for monitoring and preventing illegal fishing and logging, ensuring that our natural resources are preserved for future generations.
Community Hall: A Hub for Collaboration and Progress
The community hall, located at the picturesque Trapiang Tra Seng Pond, is now available for use by the residents of Prey Thmar Koul. This new space will serve as a gathering point for meetings, discussions, and monthly reports, fostering collaboration and open communication within the community. It will be a place where we can come together to share ideas, address challenges, and celebrate our collective achievements.
